today, we purchased our property out here in the BEAUTIFUL Moapa Valley of Nevada, USA. Although a MAJOR fixer upper project, we have made some progress with the house and land, enjoy our new found “space”, million dollar views (I say 5 million~ north, south, east and west, and then when those stars are out~ OHHHHH my gosh!!!), peace, quiet, critters and a different lifestyle.
Thank You for being a part of this journey with me, reading my blog, and occasionally leaving a word or two. YOU are much appreciated!
They don’t happen often here in the Moapa Valley of Nevada but when they do, they can last for days! It is winter, and we get the rains, however, we can watch the mountains surrounding our property, with all the snow one could want. I am happy that it OVER there, and no shoveling required at my location, just an admiration for the natural beauty that it creates.
Having amazing productive days in the She Shed Studio.
Hope your day is Productive Creative Fun! GO FOR IT!!!!
All works of art are the original design and creation of the artist, Diann Meynor. No copies or reproductions with out permission from the artist. in the “back yard”! This is close to my home at the Moapa Mesa She Shed Studio, about a 2 minute drive. After the rains I LOVE to take the jeep out and about for a fresh air ride. Decided to take a break from the studio today and capture some “Natural works of Art”.
Once I get my professional camera fixed the quality of my photos and skills will improve as well. These were all taken with my iPhone, however no cropping or photo editing was used.
Hoping you catch some fresh air with your day of inspiration!
Stopped by the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery yesterday to take a few photos of my work. As an artist, I think it’s pretty cool to see your work displayed. However, upon arriving at the gallery, I could not find my art. I did find my snowman “hanging” out.
But the abstract of “Shades of Black and White” no where to be found. I asked the front desk where it could be? They had no clue. I had another meeting to attend at the High School for the Virgin Valley Educational Advisory Board, where I hold the current board position as the Educational Liaison. I told them I would stop back.
Later, I received a call. Cool! a Message!!!
Wait a minute…WHAT????? did that say??? replay……..My art sold????and there is a check waiting for me????? WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!
Ok, now as an artist, as funny as this may sound…….WHO “adopted” my “child” ? I like to know the people who purchase my work. It is giving away a part of your soul creation. Right artist friends? I know, I need to work on letting that emotion go. Accept what is yet to come, and let the “children” be adopted. They must LOVE them too or they wouldn’t have made the purchase.
